Testing 1, 2, 3
"'Testing 1,2,3' is a wonderful series of plays that work for a small drama department such as ours. The initial play Drive-Thru Interview can be difficult for people to comprehend as we often do not associate cheerleaders with being not the brightest color in the box. I gave a brief intro to each play to assist with the comprehension. In addition, we had the character wear a cheerleading outfit for the play. Mr. Perry's test was great as it did not require a great deal of staging and props." -- Sharon Klein, Grant Co. High School, Elgin, ND

Testing 1, 2, 3
"We did the production with minimal set on two of the 3 sections. For the Babysitter Brokerage, we actually used four platforms of varying levels, One below stage level, one at stage level, one about 2 feet higher than stage level and then one at about 4 feet higher than stage level. This gave the audience full view of all characters at the same time. For Mr. Perry's Test, we used the below stage level and the stage so that the audience could see all four actors in the car. For the Drive Thru Interview, we used a simple set up with a chrome table and two chairs." -- D.R., Earlham Community School, Earlham, IA

Great play for 4 girls and a crowd pleaser for all ages!
We only performed Babysitter Brokerage as part of a bill of one-act plays. It requires comic timing and is a challenging piece with a surprising ending. Little to no set is required. We did a lot with lights and sound.
