"This musical was a hit with all our audiences.  We had a school performance as an opening day/dress rehearsal.  I always tell our high school casts that the school performances are the toughest, having to perform for peers. Some of our cast members were seniors who had never participated in the school play and many had never sung in public. The student body loved every minute and gave the cast a great boost of confidence for preparing to perform for the community, parents, family, and friends.  The cast members simply loved the script and the songs and made the characters their own in every scene.  The concept of different characters in each scene gave us the option of giving opportunities to several students that may not have been cast in a traditional storyline script.  The script allows for a lot of flexibility with cast size, set, props, costumes and music." -- D.S., McKenzie High School, TN
