Alfred Hitchcock Taught Me Everything I Know
"We loved this show! This production was very easily staged, which was an important consideration for us. This is a fast-paced show. Timing of lines and pauses was especially important to allow for the most audience response. Maura and Tyrone need to be able to memorize a LOT of lines and be willing to attend several more rehearsals than everyone else. My only criticism of the play is that some of the roles were tiny and I know the actors felt a little unnecessary at times as they waited patiently for their turn on stage. But I used several of the small role-players to do the sound effects and prop organizing. The show was a good vehicle to introduce a couple of 'newbies' to the stage with smaller parts and still showcase some of the more talented students. Two of the best compliments I received were the same, one from a cast member and one from an audience member...'Does it have to be over now?'" -- T.R., Westville (IL) H.S.
