This play is inspired by many of the jokes, interactions, and situations I find myself in with friends and family. I wanted to create something fun, and something character-based that people of all ages could enjoy, whether on stage or in the audience.
2. What's your favorite part or line in the play? Why?
My favorite part of this play is where everything goes wrong. The actors brought so much to the scene and really shaped the way it played, and it forever amazes me.
3. Where did the characters come from? Are they based on people you know?
These characters remind me of those you’d find in a comic book. A little over-the-top and endearing all the same.
4. What did you try to achieve with this play?
I wanted to create something fun, something that created smiles. Putting on a show can be hard, and I love "The Storm" because it is simple but it’s something you come away from feeling happy.
5. Do you have anything else you'd like to add?
Always have fun with theater. Shows will shape according to the cast and the director and everyone involved, even in a small production like this one. That is something so beautiful to me. Find the joy in it, smile.
